SHAZAM! The Center Players Community Theatre presents The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson. Blessings and hilarity abound as the Herdmans, the worst kids in town, collide with an entire church congregation in this not-so-traditional Christmas Pageant. What is projected to be the worst Christmas pageant ever turns out to be quite the opposite. Mayhem, merriment and the true meaning of the holidays reign in this chaotic Christmas classic to be enjoyed by all ages.

Directed by Mandy Hackman, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever continues to resonate with audiences by reminding them to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to remember what Christmas is all about. Based on Barbara Robinson’s popular book, the beloved Christmas show has delighted worldwide audiences since 1981. The Center Players Community Theatre first presented The Best Christmas Pageant Ever during the 2005, 2006, and 2015 seasons and we are thrilled to share it with our theatre patrons again.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever plays December 2-5, 2021 at the Madison Square Center for the Arts in Madison.
